Bookings
For advance bookings a minimum of two nights is usually required. Late bookings for single nights will be accepted if we have an available room but with an increased tariff of £5.00 per person. Telephone us for availability. Better still, book for a minimum of two nights to ensure your room.

Reservations
A deposit by debit card or cheque for the first night’s tariff is required to reserve each room. This is non-refundable if cancelled within 14 days of the first night’s reservation unless we are able to re-let the room.  We will try to re-let the room for any cancelled  nights but if we are unable to re-let the balance of the booking is payable.. For your own protection and ours we strongly advise taking out insurance.

Deposits should be received within 5 days of making the reservation otherwise we cannot guarantee the room. Deposit cheques should be made payable to T & A Bowes.

Arrival and Departure Times

Arrival
Please arrive between 4pm and 6pm if possible. If you arrive earlier and we are available you can drop cases off but your room may not be ready. However, car parking spaces are usually available adjacent to Greycroft and you can leave your car to have a stroll round the town. Please let us know when booking if you are likely to be outside this arrival ‘window’. Please phone on your day of arrival if unforeseen circumstances have affected your confirmed arrival schedule.

Departure
Rooms should be vacated by 10.30 on your day of departure.

Settlement
Settlement by cash, cheque or debit card may be preferred as credit card payments carry a 2% processing charge that would be added to the bill.

Dietary Requirements
If any guests have special dietary requirements we can cater for these if advised at the time of booking.

No Smoking
For the comfort and safety of all our guests Greycroft is exclusively non- smoking. Abuse of this condition will incur a £100 surcharge fee to cover the cost of additional cleaning.

Reckless Damage
We ask that you treat your accommodation at Greycroft as you would your own home.  We retain the right to charge you for the cost of rectification of any excessive soilage or damage you cause to the property or furnishings.

Behaviour
For the consideration of all our guests we ask that you recognise and respect acceptable noise levels or behaviour. Unacceptable behaviour may result in termination of your booking without refund or compensation.
